Anyway, I thought the enigmas were a lot of fun while they lasted.  :)

I also didn't get anything yet. But until now I don't think they forgot us. It took almost 3 month from the first announcement that we'll get a signed album (in November 2005) to the email with the request to send them our addresses (in February 2006).

So, we will have to be much more patient, I'm afraid.

uuhm... this was meant as a joke, wasn't it?

I did not read such a thing. And it wouldn't be very logical, as the next album, No. 34 - if it will ever come -, cannot be expected before the year 2009 or 2010.

And no, there isn't any official announcement of an album No. 34. Of course, Uderzo said in Brussels that he is going to continue the Asterix series. But that's nothing concretely.

The only information I got, is, that all the winners shall get an Uderzo-signed album.

Here's part of the message I received from Tapidesourix which, if I'm not mistaken, suggests that it will be a signed copy of Falling Sky: ... nous avons mis pour vous de côté un exemplaire du Ciel lui tombe sur la tête que nous nous ferons un plaisir de vous faire parvenir, dédicacé à votre attention par Albert Uderzo en personne ... As for book 34 ... well I would have been tempted to post something like that this coming Saturday.

And my name is written with an f, not ph, which pleases me, because many people write it wrong, especially in france. But uderzo has written two lines, Pour Sofie, and after that something I just can't read. Frustrating! o, well, at least I have an autograph now :).

today I received something from France, too. But unfortunately I'm not at home, right now, so I have to wait until the end of the week to see, what it is...

But uderzo has written two lines

Oh wow! A personal note from Uderzo. This would be really great! I can't wait to have a look at my copy. But I'm sure, all the waiting was more than worth it!
