Since I'm Norwegian all the Vikings are among my favourites. But my absolute favourite must be Getafix.

My favorite villain is Prolix the Soothsayer
I like how he plays on the Gullibility of Gauls and then how he gets all turned around by the Roman centurion and claims both to be a true Soothsayer and then a con-artist.

I'm not sure which character is my overall favourite:
I like both Asterix, as he is a more intelligent and complex character than some others, and Obelix for his brutish power and simple outlook on life.

I enjoy Impedimentia's interacting with her husband Vitalstatistix. I would say that she would be my favourite female charcter, always aspiring for greater things in life.
